These funds focus on long and short positions in stocks across market capitalizations, and use call and put options to reduce volatility and/or increase opportunity.  The strategy is bottom-up and value-oriented. 

The Funds invest in companies that are creating shareholder value and are under-valued based on Rapidan Capital's proprietary Economic Value Added (EVA) valuation model.  The EVA valuation model strips out material distortions in accounting data and provides a robust link between corporate performance and shareowner value.
